Not worth the money spent. Stayed at Baia Lara from 2 till 9 November 2025 with family. Hotel is NOT worth the money spent. Hardly 4 Turkish stars (means 3 star international standard).
One of the worst things for families with kids is Smoking everywhere: beach, restaurant, inside and outside the hotel. During all stay we could not escape from smokers and smoke smell. Even in the rooms strong smell of smoking all the time coming from outside and from corridor. Embarrassing.
Rooms cleaning was bad, strong smell in toilet, they didn’t clean well the urine and shower. Water didn’t go off well in shower. Beach not clean enough, lots of plastic, used cigarettes everywhere
Noise in the rooms until late night from drunk neighbours shouting until 2 -3 am and starting from 7:30 in the morning when staff starts cleaning and noise cancelling between rooms is very poor. We couldn’t sleep well all stay.
Service is poor, if you try calling room service - no response anytime. Poor animation - same guy every night mumbling something in his microphone in the hotel lobby, embarrassing.
Restaurants dirty, hard to find free tables, staff served tables slowly, dishes sometimes were dirty, food choice and quality is veeeeery medium (score 5 out of 10)
Entertainment is poor as well: kids club closed for maintenance, water in ALL pools was not heated and veeery cold, so no people in pools and pool area. Useless. Ping pong - 1 dirty ball for 3 tables. Hotel was crowded by locals so long queues everywhere. I had to wait for coffee for 30 Minutes in queue. Also pool bars long queues all time (6-7 people anytime)
So highly not recommended to families with kids, non-smokers, and those who expect good service. .

Luxury отдых нулевых. Понравилось очень, что дали номер категорией выше чем я бронировал, приятный сюрприз. Наличие шикарного олимпийского бассейна. Хорошее питание, многообразие блюд и локаций. Хороший пляж и пирс. Уверенный и быстрый интернет. Отель сдан в 2009 году, состояние номеров отличное, явно была реновация.. В нашем крыле не работал один лифт, что увеличивало ожидание лифта и очереди. Почему-то все газоны были обтянуты лентой..

Nice, but wouldn’t return.. We stayed at this hotel after booking through a package holiday with Tui, and stayed for a week.
Based on the reviews and photos I was expecting a really positive stay, but in all honesty our experience was very mixed.
The positives were that the hotel was clean, modern and the rooms were comfortable.
The food and drink available was varied, and very enjoyable. There was a nice selection, and even the pickiest eater can find something they like!
The rooms were kept very clean, and mini bars always well stocked.
I felt like the hotel was just lacking in some areas.
On evenings when the weather was poor, people couldn’t dine outside which put significant pressure on the inside dining area. There was literally no plan in place for this, which meant it was a free for all. We waited over two hours, on two separate occasions to dine because there was just no space.
We witnessed a mother get fed up of waiting, she took food into the bar area and was loudly berated by a member of staff. He told her strictly no food in the bar and didn’t want to listen that she had been waiting 90 mins with hungry children for a table.
The whole thing was very poorly managed.
On an evening the “kids disco” was very lack lustre. The same playlist would be rolled out every night, with bored staff running the “party”.
I’ve visited so many family resorts, and can confirm this one just didn’t hit the spot!
The positive for kids, is that the aqua tower is a lot of fun, however only open for 4 hours during the day.
By day 7, we were completely fed up of people interrupting us, trying to sell us family photo packages, as well as massages, hair styling, and other treatments. It got old very quick!
The icing on the cake that annoyed me the most, was on the last evening when the hotels customer relations lady came up to us, and asked us to review the hotel on two websites. Both websites were in German, so I refused as I didn’t know what I was reviewing. She then showed me tripadvisor and told me she would stand with me and complete the review with me. This made me so uncomfortable and genuinely made me question some of the very positive reviews I’d previously read before my holiday had began.
All in all, this is a nice hotel. I wouldn’t say it is 5 stars, there’s definitely a lot of scope for improvement. Most of the staff were friendly and polite, but some of the facilities were lacking.. .

Staff members made the holiday. Hotel and staff are amazing , but the main thing that did it to me was 3 staff members in particular which are Diyar(Diaz) , Yezda & Della , these 3 staff members make the hotel what it is and makes me want to book again next year solely just to go and see these guys again , always went above and beyond to make sure you was looked after , always met you with a massive smile & always always rushed off their feet they do not get the credit they deserve & a pay rise I’d say biailara give these guys a medal they’ve earnt it , the gardeners try to get you with the sprinklers lol , cleaners are perfect friendly , chefs are bang on all the food was 10/10 can not complain about anything besides the day time entertainment there’s was t really much to do , but the 3 people I mentioned are the sole reason I want to come back so thank you to Diyar , Yezda & Della. .

Good hotel, however, a few negatives. Upgraded on arrival to a 9th floor, sea view, suite. Thank you! Great selection of drinks and food , although dinner can be a bit busy, friendly staff (mostly), and spotlessly clean.
Negatives: loud music around the pool all day, and loud music from the external bar / lounges until 1am every morning. Waiter staff expected to be tipped (one waiter actually demanded it of one of our party in the lobby bar), this was every time they served you, if you didn’t comply you were ignored. All the entertainment was outside, OK during warm, light nights but cold during the shoulder season. The only internal bar being the Lobby Bar, with low key ‘lounge / lift music, that felt like a waiting room.
To top it off, our TUI transfer mini coach diver ask for a €10 tip each from the 3 families on board back to the Antalya Airport , we didn’t comply so he refused to put the air conditioning on, and also refused to remove the cases and push chairs from the back of the coach.
Antalya Airport is a nightmare to fly home from, please be aware! It’s the worse airport, and busiest we’ve ever been to, three lots of security, and 1hour to check in.. .

. Wonderful beach! All nice and clean, comfortable sunbeds. Bar at the pier serves drinks and snacks.
The room was nice, though we could hear the parties eveen with windows closed. It was a bit disturbing.
The food was great! Great choice of different cuisines.. A bit noisy at night, at least it was for our room..
